புவி போற்றும் உன் திறமை
நீ கற்றது கடலாகும்
நீ படித்து மறந்ததையே
நான் கிரகிக்க நாளாகும்
உன் நெஞ்சின் உயிர்துணை நான் என்றேதான் நினைத்திருந்தேன்
உன் அவசரத் தேவைகளை அனுசரித்தே வாழ்ந்து வந்தேன்
பரிவாகக் கிடைத்ததெல்லாம் பாசாங்காய் உணர்ந்தாயோ?
பலமென்று இருந்த என்னை பலவீனம் என்பாயோ?
உன் சேவைக்கென நானும் உதித்ததாய் நினைத்தாயோ?
அருமை தெரியாதவரின் அருகாமை வெற்றிடமே
உன் துரையில் உன் மதிப்பு
கோபுரக் கலசமது
ஊர் உனக்கு சிலைவைக்கும்
நூலகம் உன் பெயர் தாங்கும்
நாளிதழ்கள் உன் வாழ்வை வரலாற்றில் கொடி நாட்டும்
உடனிருந்த எனைக் கேட்டால்
உன் நிழலில் சுகமில்லை

kettavanyaa nee. I just thought of an interesting perspective to write from--someone who has been in the shadow of greatness but has suffered ingratitude of the highest order. Disclaimer: No relevance to any person living or dead associated with me, pOthumaa?
I'm glad you didn't ask anything when I wrote from the female perspective in vasiyakkaari badhil! Writer's will try on different perspectives and characters for different vantage points, that's the joy of writing. Anyway, vAzhga un kusumbu.
